MODERN AGRONOMIST PROGRAM
The course and practical trainings are designed for agronomists willing to build their knowledge and skills in the topics and issues that are most needed for a practicing agronomist.

Topics include basic soil physical and biological characteristics, resource conservation, soil fertility, irrigation, drainage, water quality, soil and tissue analysis and interpretation, fertilizers and other nutrient sources, soil pH and liming, pest identification, sampling and control, cropping systems, planting practices, crop growth and development, some aspects of harvest and other issues.

Upon completion of the program agronomists should have fundamental knowledge of soil and water, nutrient management, pest management and crop management.
